Iskon Temple, Vrindavan
A visit to Iskon Temple, Vrindavan, Madhura.
Everyone will experience a period in their lives when they fall into the valley of darkness, at least once. I suppose that like all of you, I was there. Nowhere could I find tranquility. I had no idea what I wanted or was looking for. Everything ceased to make sense. I decided to go on a trip at this time, and my companion and I chose Vrindavan, Mathura, where we visited the Iskon Temple. And it ended up being one of my best decisions ever.
It was really crowded. I recognized myself in each of them. Looking for something. It could be either peace or gladness. I'm not sure. The architecture was stunning. Krishna and Balarama are enshrined at the central altar. The magnificent images of Radha Krishna with the Gopikas Lalitha and Vishaka can be found on the right side altar. Images of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda, Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, and his spiritual Guru Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura can be found on the left side altar. I felt a presence as I stood in the center of the altar. Filling me up from the inside out. I couldn't explain it even today. But I was already full. I wanted to cry my eyes out. Today, Dhanteras, I remember those times. I believe everyone should visit this temple at least once in their life.
Happy Diwali
Peaceful ❤️
